Independence Day at Rock Ledge Ranch

Visitors have an opportunity to walk through a reanactment of a revolutionary war camp, hear General Palmer read the Declaration of Independence, participate in a discussion with Katherine Lee Bates about her inspiration for "America the Beautiful", visit a Civil War encampment, and a Buffalo Soldier bivouac. There will also be games in barn, hot dogs, homemade ice cream and patriotic music performed by the Fountain Creek Brass Band!
